Power4CivilSociety (P4CS) is an initiative launched through the She4Society Initiative, in collaboration with partners at Yemen Rawafid Foundation for Sustainable Development and Al-Amal Foundation. What began as a pilot one year ago has now grown into a full one-year program. This work is carried out voluntarily—driven by solidarity, resilience, and a deep belief in the power of collective action.
Today, P4CS supports more than 120 civil society organizations across Yemen, including youth-led, women-led, and disability-focused groups. The initiative provides tailored support in key areas such as gender, advocacy, communication, and digital connectivity—because real and lasting change begins when local organizations possess the tools and capacity to lead.
The international community has largely failed to protect Yemeni civil society. Recent aid cuts—particularly from the U.S., the Netherlands, and several European donors—have disproportionately harmed feminist and grassroots organizations. P4CS stands as our response to this growing gap.
It reflects a commitment to reshaping the narrative—placing local actors at the center and standing firm in one simple truth:
Sustainable change starts from within the community.
